 Our backstory:
Originally, I am from Fort Wayne, Indiana. While living there I visited several lakes over many years in the local area. I often boated as a passenger with friends and always dreamed of owning my own boat. Years later my wife, three children, and I vacationed to the Lake Norman area to check it out for a possible move. While on vacation, I wanted to get out on the lake, but noticed the options were quite limited. I did not want to get on a giant tourist boat, become part of a boat rental club, or wait for weeks to arrange an appointment. I wanted to experience the lake as a true boat owner would; to go when I wanted and where I wanted. This is where the original idea for LKNPrivateBoatTours came from. After a few trips to Lake Norman to confirm moving was a good choice for our family, we moved in August of 2018 and I bought my first boat after only 2 weeks. From that time on, I have been living and boating on Lake Norman with every minute of free time. After several boat ride requests from friends, family, and co-workers I decided to open my idea to the public and offer my service to all those who experienced the same trouble in getting out on the lake. The idea grew and around the same time I purchased a larger, nicer boat. Since then I have toured countless families, friends, and several groups who wanted to see the lake as a private boat owner would, with an affordable cost, and lots of flexibility.  Everyone on board always has a good time and many have become regular clients.
